Photos from the Primer Congreso Internacional de Traducción Audiovisual in Lima, Peru

On the weekend of June 6-7, 2015 Jonathan Hemming attended and presented at the Primer Congreso Internacion de Traducción Audiovisual in Lima Peru.  This congress was organised by the Universidad César Vallejo and welcomed more than 400 guests, including many students in Translation and Interpreting from Lima's universities.  Jorge Díaz Cintas and Frederic Chaume Varela gave very thouroguh presentations on the subtitling and dubbing industries, while Jonathan Hemming presented a lecture on The Use of Machine Translation in Subtitling.
